Charming historic neighborhood adds a lovely touch.
The room was small, with hardly any space to move around. The bathroom was cramped. The cleaning seemed inadequate, especially the dusty chandelier that caught my attention.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, the location is great, just a 5-10 min walk to the center of town. The hotel was able to let us park free curbside outside the hotel.
The bathroom needs updating, there is no shower curtain thus making it quite messy after a shower.

We liked this hotel, it was charming and clean. Staff was charming and breakfast was good. It was in the central location close to center. We stayed for 1 night here, loved Bruges Historic Center district. The whole experience was fantastic...

The friendly reception staff suggested lovely local parks to visit.
The room had a mysterious leak, made the bathroom floor unpleasant to use.

very comfy beds! One of the male staff was very helpful with hints and tips on where to go.
There was a bit of a fly problem.. wasn't too much bother but there was a few squashed flies on the ceiling and walls. Only one staff was very friendly - the rest weren't very friendly or welcoming, but think this may be the Belgian, as the whole city lacked good friendly customer service!

The room was so small it woudl ve been difficult to fit in my designer suitcase. Not to mention, the breakfast was laughable-only two croissants left for the many guests, honestly, how hard is it to have a proper breakfast? Oh, and I expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles but, of course, was sorely disappointed.

The property was lovely old and comfy and we had a fairly nice stay. The location was good and unbeatable, within easy walking distance of a bustling plaza. It was also really close to historic center, the mediaeval landmarks of Bruges, in a quiet neighbourhood and the main square.

Had a cracking stay! The staff were pure grand, giving us smashing tips on where to eat. Just wish the lift was a wee bit bigger, though. We were three moving about and it felt a tad cramped.

We really enjoyed good room with good size bathroom. The hotel was in the central setting quite close to the old town where most of the sights are for tourists.

We wanted accommodation in an old building in the old town and Hotel Jacobs fulfilled this desire. Yes, the room was small but the bed was spacious and comfortable. Yes the shower room was compact but recently modernised and the water was hot and under good pressure. We could walk into the city centre and the street where the hotel is was on one of our self-guide walking routes, we found. The two front desk staff we dealt with were very helpful and spoke excellent English. Parking was on the street just outside (it's a quiet area) and free. A bonus. The breakfast was continental buffet style and well presented in a spacious room. Free wifi too.
There was no tea and coffee making facility in the room and no fridge. The bar wil sell you a coffee at any time though.

Family with children quiet retreat
The breakfast was simple but nice , the multi grain bread they had was surprisingly fresh and I appreciated the boiled eggs on demand. I remember watching my child enjoy the park nearby that the staff recommended , it was a lovely escape from the noise.
It wasn't cheap , but still acceptable given the peaceful atmosphere.

The room was immaculately clean and had a view to city. The hotel staff was pleasant, they all greeted us.
The staff were not very friendly, didn't expect that coming.
